Organizations that practice good timekeeping are highly placed to deliver all their products promptly. This refers to your entire team, and you are responsible for ensuring that all team members can function successfully in the allotted time. Distractions can help employees ease pain, make them very resilient, and give their minds a much-needed break. Distractions, if not well monitored, may fully destroy productivity (Winstanley, 2005). As a manager, you need to look for the top organizational distractors and clear them away.

Creating a culture of flexibility

This entails letting your staff carry out jobs within their much-preferred working hours. For instance, the earliest workers may get to work an hour earlier than other employees and leave earlier in the afternoon. Those who cannot wake up early may report later and perform their tasks until evening. One more option is allowing workers to work from their homes' comfort and a few days a week. This cancels the time used on their regular commutes. It also provides managers with an opportunity to do away with all organizational distractions.
