An individual from Nigeria can speak at least two languages. To understand Nigerian culture as a whole, one has to understand the languages as languages are the bases of the ethnic cultures. Nigerian foods are mainly traditional carbohydrates. They are spicy sometimes, but they have medical qualities as the spices used in the cooking processes have many medical benefits. The traditional ethnic cultures of Nigeria speak of rituals that are important parts of the traditional medical processes. Our religious philosophy guides us by showing us the way to maintain the balance between body and mind.
